Missing by Lisa Harris is book 2 in the Nikki Boyd Files series.
Nikki Boyd became involved in working missing persons cases after the disappearance of her sister. This case involves several murders with one of the victims showing up on her friend Tyler’s boat. Tyler’s wife dies the year before and now her father is back living on the boat, and involved with the situation causing the death of Mac Hudson and disappearance of Mac’s wife, Lucy.
Following the death of her friend, Nikki began spending time with Tyler and his son Liam. She has started to have feelings for Tyler and is afraid to let him know. So she has been avoiding them until this tragedy happens.
This is a very well written suspense story that will keep you reading to find out “who done it”. This is a fast-paced story with a lot of twists and turns. I really enjoyed reading this story. I also enjoyed the friendship and respect shared between Nikki and Tyler and his family. Even though this is book 2 in the series, it stands alone very well. This is a good story published by Revel Publishing, a Christian publishing company, however, the story does not have much of a Christian message in it. This is a must read for anyone who likes suspense stories.
I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishing for an honest review.
