Princess Ever After, written by Rachel Hauck, is book 2 in The Royal Wedding Series. Regina left her job and started a car restoration company with her father’s friend. They have finished their first car and she is loving every minute of her new career.
Just as the company gets a second car to work on, her is sought out by Tanner Burkhardt, the Minister of Culture for the Grand Duchy of Hassenberg. Tanner’s responsibility is to find the long lost princess of their county and bring her back to Hassenberg to lead the county.
Regina has no knowledge of her being a princess. She use to play princess with her great grandmother when she was a child, but her great grandmother never told her about being a princess. Regina’s great grandmother had given Regina a children story book she had written and illustrated about a princess who is forced to flee her country. This book now becomes very valuable to Regina and the county of Hassenberg in finding out more of what happen a hundred years earlier.
This is a nice clean story full of adventure with a touch of romance. I really enjoy how Regina is so down to earth and sensible. I have not read any of the other stories in this series, but this story stand alone very nicely. This is a fun, easy to read story that is perfect for that rainy day to just curl up with a book and be taken away.
I receieved a copy of this book from Family Fiction and I have written an honest review.
