When Love Arrives by Johnnie Alexander

When Love Arrives, written by Johnnie Alexander is book two in the Misty Hollow series. Brett Somers is a wealthy business man who lost his parents in a plane accident. During an interview the media person presses him about his how his life has changed with the death of his parents and then grandfather. He makes a comment blaming the pilot for killing his parents.

Dani Prescott sees the interview that goes viral online and vows to ruin Brett’s reputation. What she finds instead is a man who has changed his life around and is now a caring person and no longer uses women for his own enjoyment. Brett insists on making sure Dani gets home safely and along with his family, gives Dani a job and moves her into their guest cabin.

This is a nice story about how a person can change their life around. It also is a story about forgiveness. I enjoyed when Dani continued watching the video and realized the interviewer was being forceful with her questions prior to Brett’s comment. It was fun to see Brett turn away from his playboy phase and take on the responsibilities for his action when he was younger. The story also shows how life events when we are young can impact the type of person we become as we get older. As Brett turns away from his old life, he also finds himself praying and going to church. He is reminded that God has paid the price for our sins.

I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
