God’s Little Lambs ~Bible Stories~ is a cute cushioned hard cover book for young children. Julie Stiegemeyer has taken stories from the Bible and rewritten them in easy to understand short stories for children. There are 17 stories from the Old Testament and 18 stores from the New Testament. Each of the stories are just a few pages long and include colorful pictures, drawn by Qin Leng, that correspond with the story. At the end of each story is a small block with a little lamb and a short verse that go along with the story.

This little Bible story book starts out with explaining who God is and that God made all things. Some of the stories in this book are children’s favorites. The stories include those of Adam and Eve, Danial in the lions den, the flood, Jonah and the whale, Joshua, Joseph and Moses of the Old Testament. Stores from the New Testament include, the birth and childhood of Jesus as well as his ministry, death and resurrection.

This is a really cute book. The front of the book has a page to fill in if given as a gift. This is a wonderful book to read to little ones to help teach them the Bible stories. The author has summaries the stories so little children will understand them.

I really like this book. This book is the perfect size for little ones to hold and carry. Each of the stories is a good length to read to a toddler as well as for a young reader. I really enjoyed the short verses at the end of each story. This is a great way to help talk with the little ones about the story. Also letting the children find the little lamb is a nice way to interact with them as well. The colorful pages are also shinny so will not get dirty from children touching them. The cover is also easily cleaned and durable.

I received this book from the publisher through BookLook Bloggers and have written an honest review.
