Made for a Purpose by Kristie Wilde

This delightful book appeals to the “why?” in every child, inspiring them to discover God’s wisdom displayed in the world around, as well as within them.”

Made for a Purpose is book one in the Joyful Creation Series written by Kristie Wilde. With just 18 pages to the story, Kristie helps children understand why beaver have such long teeth, how ducks can swim, how woodpeckers are able to dig into trees, why frogs have eyes on their head, why turtle’s shells are so hard, how fish can swim under water, and how chipmunks can carry so much in their mouths. The author tells us that God made us to enjoy Him and the nature He made for us.

This is a cute paper back story for the young reader as well as the younger child who enjoys being read too. The child will learn from the beautiful pictures and the information in the story. I like how the author wrote such an informative little story that children will enjoy learning about animals and how they live. This is a book that will catch a little one’s interest, not just the story but through the pictures with picking out the animals and nature within them. The shiny book cover will be easy to clean sticky finger prints from. The pages are fairly thick to help with bending from the young child. I think any family with young children will benefit from having this book in their home.

I receive a copy of this book from BookCrash and I have written an honest review.
