The Shepherd and the Sheep

download.jpg

The Shepherd and the Sheep is a lift-the-flap book for little children. The shepherd had 100 sheep and one day he found one sheep was missing. He went out to find it. He searched everywhere. He even searched a house and a boat.

Using bright colors, adorable pictures and a flap to search for the lost sheep the book teaches little children how much the shepard loves and care for his sheep. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and he cares for us, his sheep.

This is a wonderful children’s book that will encourage children to interact with the story as they learn how much God loves them. The story is short and easy to read for the young reader and the perfect size for reading to an active toddler. The book is a shiny, hard covered book that will hold up to little one’s sticky finger and the pages are durable weight folding pages. The pictures are so adorable, I just want to take dog and cuddle with him. Each page also included a rabbit and a little mouse that children will enjoy looking for. The little child will have many enjoyable hours looking behind the flap checking to see what is behind it. The book has parts of 3 different bible stories within the main story. Priced at just $4.99, this is the perfect book to give as a gift to a young child. This would make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift with the hearts on the cover and the theme of love.
